WHY GO?  If you have a passion for fashion.  It’s always a thrill to find an emerging artist whose work is actually affordable!  This talented ex-fashion designer and couturier switched making one-off luxury garments for creating joyful paintings and silkscreen prints, and her vibrant portraits are already being snapped up by fashionistas, destined for stylish lofty apartments no doubt.

Susie Stone is inspired by contemporary portraiture, fashion photography and fashion illustration, therefore it’s no surprise that her work zones in on women with the zeal and enthusiasm of a fashion designer cum editor.

Her bold independent women buzz with confident ‘va va vroom’, and their clothes reflect contemporary trends to capture the fashion mood of the moment.

Susie states that she wants,” to celebrate all women’s right to a freedom of expression, identity and joy”.

Her illustrator’s eye for detail and sartorial take on fashion certainly shows she's ahead of the curve and might well inspire would-be artists to grab a sketch pad and get creative.

IN THE KNOW  The Eames Fine Art Collectors Studio in Bermondsey offers an entry to anyone wanting to start an affordable personal art collection.
