WHERE? Claridge’s ArtSpace, Brook’s Mews, London W1K 4HR

WHEN? Now until 17th April.  Free to view

WHY GO?  To rub shoulders with the jet set!  London’s prestigious Claridge’s hotel has been undergoing some serious refurbishments as documented in the recent BBC2 series, The Mayfair Hotel Megabuild.

Along with a spa, cinema and art gallery, there’s now a chic little cafe where ladies that lunch can linger before absorbing the latest in contemporary art.

Designed by John Pawson, ArtSpace is the perfect minimalist venue for showing off the creme de la creme of gallerists offering a regular rotation of exhibitions.

Ben Brown Fine Arts is currently resident, showcasing 10 of their key artists, each with a unique vision.

From a quirky Ron Arad table, to a stylish study of the Bodleian Library by German photographer Candida Hofer,  the show represents the amazing diversity of artists today.

IN THE KNOW Spoil yourself with a Claridge’s ArtSpace cake and soak up the best in contemporary art.  The gallery is free to visit and don’t worry, there’s no pressure to buy a painting!
