We’ve had the film, the ITV drama continues and now there’s a brand new original ballet, choreographed by Cathy Marston for Northern Ballet to feed our frenzy for discovering more about the doughty Queen. Focusing on her relationship with Beatrice, the youngest daughter who was just 3 when Albert died, who became her lifelong companion and ended up editing the famous diaries.
Brilliant choreography, impressive performances and a magnificent sweeping score by long time Northern Ballet collaborator Philip Feeney, it is not to be missed. And YES, John Brown does feature!
